Fans have been left in shock after MasterChef Australia judge Melissa Leong announced she was divorcing from husband Joe Jones after almost four years of marriage!
In a heartwrenching announcement on Instagram, the 38-year-old host and her bar-owner husband revealed “the time has come” to go their separate ways.
“It has brought us such happiness to walk together, but the time has come for Joe and I to part ways and walk on, apart,” Melissa wrote next to an image of the couple walking hand-in-hand on their wedding day. “We ask for your kindness and consideration for our privacy. We will not be making any further comment as our private lives have, and will always remain, exactly that.”
Melissa’s devastating ending to 2020 comes after a wildly successful year, during which she became the, with many labelling her “the best thing to happen to TV in years”.
