Top of the hit parade

I mentioned in last month that we’re not seeing many pigeons in my part of Essex (Behind the scenes, January). If social media is to be believed some people are still shooting decent bags, but there are precious few opportunities around here.

The behaviour and spread of pigeon across the country seems to have changed. I’d love to know what readers around the UK think and what observations they have. I’m starting to see a few birds around, but nowhere near as many as there should be at this time of year. I’ll let you know my thoughts when I have done more research.
