Next of kin

It seems to have become the norm in recent years that my wife Anne and I travel up for a few days at Kinnaird Estate towards the end of the hind cull each year, and for the last two of these we have been joined by daughter Jen with hubby Kenna and granddaughter Mia. It’s a busman’s holiday, for sure, but good to spend a bit of family time in what is, for me, one the best places in Scotland. Perthshire is spectacular at all times of the year, but particularly so in February.

There’s no real pressure on me as the cull is complete; all I’m really doing is shooting a few of the older or weaker hinds and smaller calves
