KEEPING IT REAL [MOTO]
With all international freestyle motocross contests scrapped for the foreseeable future, the invitation to take part in X Games’ Real Moto video contest was a welcome reprieve for multi-time champion Jacko Strong. The 29-year-old lives in Lockhart, NSW, 45 minutes west of Wagga Wagga, and with a large property, heavy machinery and endless tools at his disposal, the opportunity to pour his efforts into a viral video edit wasn’t one to turn down.
After months of hard graft, tens of thousands of dollars, and countless hours of choreographing, filming and editing, Jacko and the Headstrong team submitted a 90-second video they were immensely proud of.
The competition was fierce, with the other invited riders, Colby Raha, Josh Hill, fellow Australian Corey Creed, Cody Webb and Vicki Golden all pumping out mesmerising edits with multiple world firsts.
