    Parking area at N end of Church Lane, near junction with A32

    1 Cross A32 just beyond parking area and follow South Downs Way (SDW) footpath to a footbridge over the River Meon. 100m further on turn L to continue on SDW to old railway line. Continue along SDW bridleway, which bends R. Now clear of trees, the SDW follows fence line round edge of fields. At junction with Monarch’s Way (which turns L), SDW footpath goes along L edge of hedge while bridleway keeps to R-hand side. Follow latter for better views.
