Should we be going for lighter caravans?

here is something of a contradiction emerging in caravanning these days. According to AutoTrader, more Yet they only want them if they are fitted with all mod cons – and such features add weight. Heavier tourers are less likely to be a suitable match for the kind of electric cars the Government is persuading us to drive – at least those currently on the market. Is it time to revisit the virtues of lighter caravans? One thing is for sure: it’ll be tricky for designers to incorporate those popular mod-cons into such units.
