’m wondering how many of your(1932-2016; above), the Japanese electronics whizz who recorded synthesizer versions of classical music favourites? He was big in the 1970s and ’80s, but you don’t hear many of his recordings these days. They were brilliant for introducing music to children. When I was little, I played his version of Holst’s endlessly – I lost my copy long ago, sadly – and via the magic of streaming still enjoy listening to , his take on Debussy piano works.
