In 2008, when I was 17, me and Daniel moved out of my parents’ house to a three-bed around the corner.
‘Come out clubbing with us,’ my friends would say every weekend.
I was still a teenager, but I had responsibilities.
‘I can’t,’ I’d say, telling them Daniel was my priority now.
