Suspended sentence for Louw’s ‘extortionist’
A MAN charged with fraud and who also attempted to extort money from murdered Miguel Louw’s mother became emotional in court, and needed consoling and counsel from his lawyer and father when sentencing was handed down last week.
Brandon Moodley, 37, believed he received a lengthy stay in prison when he appeared before magistrate Sophie Reddy at the Durban Regional Court.
