Digger Jazz a true role model for the youth

MANY years ago in the dusty streets of Kagiso the role models for the youth were not the guys in the fastest, high-engine cars with the loudest music blaring from their high-end stereos.

We looked up to footballers like Meshack “Mr Executive” Mnjanqeka, Kenneth “The Horse” Mokgojoa, Vincent “Last Born” Makroti and Toy “Digger Jazz” Ramosa, who died on Tuesday aged 67.

So great was their influence on the impressionable youngsters that even the next generation of soccer players hit the ground
