Growing in stature

When hopping into the Vario 200 of old, you felt the heritage of the classic Fendt tractor. With its mechanical cross controller tucked down beside the seat and the simplistic transmission controller, it was all a bit ‘form should follow function’. And there was good reason for this. The relatively compact tractor was aimed at the no-frills purchaser — if you wanted more gadgets, then step up to the 300.
