When life really does mean life

This year has been a year like no other.

While headlines have been dominated by COVID-19, in August 2020, a sliver of justice was served for the families of those affected by the Manchester Arena bombing on 22 May 2017, as Salman Abedi’s brother was sentenced to jail.

Hashem Abedi aided his older sibling Salman, who died in the attack, in planning the atrocity that killed 22 and injured hundreds at the end of an Ariana Grande concert.

The court heard he was ‘just as guilty’
