PAUL GOODISON KEEPING IN TRIM

Paul Goodison was an early pick for the New York YC’s American Magic team on the strength of his successes since his 2008 Olympic gold. His reputation for embracing the technical boundaries was proven by three consecutive Moth World Championship wins – not to mention his supporting role with Artemis in the last America’s Cup.

Goodison’s current role is described as mainsail trimmer, but on these extreme boats, crew set-up during manoeuvres means he also gets his hands on the wheel, an experience he describes as “awesome”.
