Urban cruising

It was back in June last year when I introduced the arrival of a Volkswagen Urban Fox on my driveway (or resident parking bay, anyway), a car that had appealed to me since writing the for the January 2019 issue of . You might recall that it wasn’t all plain sailing at first, just a matter of weeks passing before the car ended up in the garage having its cylinder-head removed. The resulting bill of nigh-on £1000 was picked-up by a warranty company, but the accompanying sigh of relief was tempered somewhat by concerns over any other expensive issues that might have been lurking once the warranty had expired.
