Rosey Fisher

Rosey Fisher is an A&E doctor who juggles a busy job with her 22-year-old pony, Jovi. She lives in rural Northumberland, where she and her young-at-heart 14.2hh equine enjoy hacking and jumping.

Work life…

My job involves being the front line face for any patient attending the A&E department in a hospital in North West England. I see everything from twisted ankles, cuts and head injuries to major traumas that have occurred on the nearby hills and on the motorways. We also receive patients by air ambulance and search and rescue teams.

I always wanted to be a doctor, but I wasn’t going to get the grades I needed at school so I studied physiotherapy first. I then worked as a recruitment consultant,
