Senekal normally a peaceful town

RACIAL tension in the town of Senekal in the Free State following the death of a white farm manager is the result of outside influences, says a local businessman.

Senekal is home to about 25000 people, mostly from the farming community.

On October 2, Brendin Horner, 22, was beaten and his body tied to a pole on a farm.

According to reports, Horner had just celebrated a year working for the Scheepers family on Bloukruin
