ur new reality of online concerts is not ideal but some things are so obvious, they and 90s news parody , the band crack on with short set of solid cuts from last year’s album and a couple of oldies from Wednesday 13’s Frankenstein Drag Queens. It’s good old creepy fun, down to the skeletons and pumpkins decking the stage and a surprise appearance from Lee Downer – formerly known as The Defiled’s Stitch D – on drums. For some of the chatroom kids who’ve stumped up the cash to watch their favourite band do a full show, five songs dubbed with a recorded track leaves some of them feeling a little short-changed. However, for many fans, the added production tricks and comedic interludes courtesy of an ever-charismatic Wednesday goes down a treat.
