Using 3.00mm hook, loosely make 173 (195, 219, 241, 265) ch. Join with a sl st in first ch to work in rounds (taking care not to twist ch).
Beg Waistband
Round 1: 1ch, 1dc in same st as sl st, 1dc in each ch to end, sl st in first dc. 173 (195, 219, 241, 265) dc.
