HE COMPACT SUV IS A CAR GENRE THAT IS gaining fans quicker than K-pop here in India. It is fascinating to see how this very specific space (compact SUVs, not K-pop) is growing in the context of the Indian market, with month-on-month numbers showing steady leaps and bounds up the charts. Well, the latest entrant into this space is more J-pop than K-pop, seeing as it is rolling off the Nissan production line. The new Magnite is being billed as the big push from Nissan in India, so this is an important vehicle for sure and, as such, will have to score well in all aspects.
