Our second system based around our 2020 Award winners is more old-school in outlook perhaps than the others here. Yet, for the money required to invest in it, it provides (yet again) outstanding value for money, and superb sonic showmanship for your outlay.

Centre stage here is the Marantz CD and amplifier duo. They look pretty much the same as the 6000 series has always looked – which is to say neat and unassuming, but (dare we say it?) perhaps a little old-fashioned now.
