15th The Historical Collection of Natural History and Taxidermy from Hodnet Hall, Tennants

Tennants holds regular natural history sales, but the Hodnet Hall collection is a one-off, comprising antique taxidermy and hunting trophies prepared by leading London taxidermists. The rare cache was amassed between the 1870s to the 1930s on trips to India and Africa – expect competition for the best lots.

Find rich pickings at Chorley’s quarterly sale, where over 1,000 lots include a collection of early English porcelain and antiquarian books from Spetchley Park (Chorley’s sold the house contents a year ago).
