TOP BRANDS

We’re so spoiled in the legal world of cannabis. For many of us, it’s hard to decide on which product to purchase and which brand to support. Here, we’ve chosen our favorite brands that are the most altruistic, most committed to diversity, care deeply for the environment, have stellar marketing and finally, our favorite Canadian brands. You’ll notice California brands leading in terms of marketing, which makes sense, being the first state to legalize medical cannabis and legitimize marijuana companies.

MOST ALTRUISTIC

Bloom Farms

California’s Bloom Farms has been a trendsetter of sorts when it comes to giving back. Bloom’s one-for-one program has provided over two million meals to people suffering from food insecurity. This brand is laser-focused on consistent giving, providing a meal to someone in need with every purchase made. Additionally, Bloom Farms helps educate consumers everywhere in the various ways they can make a difference, whether it’s by purchasing a Bloom Farms product, signing up for a volunteer event the brand has organized or making a donation to a local food bank. We see you, Bloom Farms, and your efforts have not gone unnoticed!

TJ’s Gardens

The leadership at TJ’s Gardens in Oregon is dedicated to providing medicinal CBD oil to local families in the community. The Forrest Initiative, created in 2014 by TJ’s Gardens, helps under-resourced families obtain CBD oil for their children, free of charge. The program now serves 100 families with children who have medical cannabis recommendations in the state of Oregon. The program was named after the first child who benefited from the gifted CBD oil, Forrest, who used it to treat his seizures after pharmaceutical medications couldn’t provide him with relief.

Binske

It’s unfortunate how devastating the economic impact of COVID-19 has been on businesses and individuals alike. Luckily, the luxury cannabis brand Binske has showed up to support those who are facing food insecurity during this troubling time by donating meals to the Feeding America COVID-19 response fund. Between the months of April and July 2020, Binske donated five meals for every product that was purchased. This isn’t the first time Binske has stood up: The company donates a portion of its proceeds to building orphanages and schools in Peru, and in 2019 provided hurricane relief.
