WATTSY’S WHEELS

Wattsy was driving a ute he’d borrowed from his brother and towing a rusty three-channel bike trailer that had obviously seen its fair share of duty.

There were two bikes on the trailer: the ISDE-winning machine and, to my surprise, the prototype 125 EXC on which Shane won the ’97 125cc World Enduro Championship. My day had just got a whole lot better.

Grabbo looked as though he had ants in his pants and seeing him so excited only made me even crazier. Wattsy was actually letting us loose on his bikes. And what made it even weirder
