It’s very rare for me to be away from my family at Christmastime, but four years ago, our friends in Germany and Ireland invited us to visit. We arrived in Leipzig the week before the big day and it was snowing – the kind of Christmas you see in picture books!
We stayed in a tiny little remote(eggnog) and (mulled wine), as well as their tradition of (coffee and cake). They really know how to do the most gorgeous, rustic, earthy Christmas in Germany.
