Joe Biden has just won the US federal election and the very first thing that is on his to-do list is to reverse Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris Climate Change Accord.

If you remember, that’s the meeting where the world set itself a target of keeping global temperature increases below 2 per cent by 2050, with a target minimum of 1.5 per cent.

While Trump was around, no country seemed to get too excited about fulfilling their targets, other than of course New Zealand, which raced out of the blocks
