Astrology for The New Age
Allow me to divulge to you, gentle and considerate reader, a few facts that, while they may not initially interest you overmuch, will at least get me started in this month’s column. Though you may be reading this at a time when the darkened skies in the northern hemisphere have brought snow and sleet and all manner of unpleasantness, your friendly columnist is writing it in the heat of a Colorado July, when the merciless sun pounds down on the lazy and the efficient alike, on both the boring and the witty, on the unkempt and the debonair, on both the poor and the rich – and note that your columnist belongs in the second part of each of those pairs! – and that it takes a great effort of the imagination for him to write something appropriate for the dreariness of winter, and he hopes that his readers appreciate the difficulties involved.
We will talk, eventually, about transiting Venus aspects to various transiting planets (Saturn Jupiter, Mars, and Uranus) and to natal Saturn. But first, we should all note that Saturn squares Uranus this month – on February 17, to be exact, though we’ll all feel it both before and after that date.
