MARCUS RASHFORD AND CAPT SIR TOM VIRTUALLY PERFECT AT THE GQ AWARDS
They may have been attending a virtual ceremony, but that didn’t mean some of the UK’s biggest names abandoned their sartorial style for this year’s GQ Men of the Year Awards, held online due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Manchester United star Marcus Rashford (left) – named Campaigner of the Year for his work persuading the Government to provide free school meals to children during the holidays – was among those who dressed up for the occasion. “Wearing @burberry of course, thank you @riccardotisci17,” he wrote on Instagram, crediting the label’s creative director.
Another hero honoured at the ceremony, streamed live on YouTube from the London Coliseum – “We were actually really lucky with this place it was booked for the Bond premiere so we got a good deal,” quipped the event’s host, comedian Jack Whitehall (right) – was Captain Sir Tom Moore (far right).
