1 Start/Finish Kirkstone Pass car park GR: NY401081
Go through small gate at far end of car park. Walk beside wall on R, heading gently downhill.
2 Beyond gate, signposted path veers L and follows Kirkstone Beck downstream. After wall gap, path vanishes on wet ground. Head WNW to reach another wall gap. Faint trail heads NW to bridge over Caiston Beck.
3 Having crossed, the route heads up through Caiston Glen to S.
