    1 Start/Finish Forest Lodge, Nethy Bridge GR: NJ019161

    Head NE downhill towards the river. Cross a bridge and continue into the forest.

    2 Turn right at a T-junction just before a fork in the track. Follow for just under 2km.

    3 Go straight on at a cross-track and start climbing. The forest gradually becomes more open.
