chaikovsky’s classic ballet has become a Christmas staple since its premiere in 1892 in St Petersburg, Russia. Australian choreographer Terence Kohler puts a modern spin on Hong Kong Ballet’s version, which has a fresh approach to classical ballet techniques and uses elaborate visuals, for the ninth consecutive year. will feature live accompaniment by Hong Kong Sinfonietta conducted by Yip Wing-sie, as well as behind-the-scenes workshops.
