One of the coolest things about taking on the build of a radical kustom, whether you spell it with a k or a c, is that the only rules are the ones you make. When original designers took their pens to paper to create vehicles for the public, their visions had to translate to a mass audience who would embrace their creativity, but only if it came with the required level of practicality and functionality, too. Simply put, great designs meant great sales for the manufacturers, but too often those initial designs were watered down somewhere along the way to meet some federally-mandated scripture, or to appease the bean counters upstairs.
