As you may remember I have been a staunch supporter of Timothy Byrne for many years and always enjoy reading his coverage of the many Waste Companies of the past especially as I spent some 55 successful years in the Waste Management Industry during a time I, and many others, call the ‘Golden Days’ when these companies formed part of a thriving and entrepreneurial industry until changing times saw many of them gradually disappear either by merger or business circumstances.
