Let us start by saying every van ever featured in VWt is a star, otherwise it wouldn’t have made it into the hallowed pages. But we thought we would have a dig through the archives and unearth some of our favourite previous feature vans. The following pages feature just a small sample of the 650 plus vans we’ve featured over the years. We’ve tried to keep this to slightly older issues, rather than more recent ones. And, truth be told we didn’t have access to some of the earliest stuff, so if we missed your build or your favourite Transporter out we apologise. But blame the person in charge of the VWt archives, or lack of them. Righto, let’s get started...

GORDON HIGGINS’ JUICED T4 ISSUE 51

In many respects, Gordon’s T4 heralded a revolution. One of the first T4s in the UK to be put on hydraulic suspension, it featured a detailed underside and a wonderfully appointed, and very orange, inside with a multivan seat / bed and more Alcantara than you can shake a stick at.
