THERE ARE TWO THINGS the Liverpool Plains in New South Wales are not. They aren’t anywhere near Liverpool, the thriving metropolis to the south of Sydney, and they are far from plain. Indeed, they present a wonderful rolling countryside that might have been made for motorcycling. One of the most enjoyable ways to tackle them is by cutting across from the New England Highway to the Bucketts Way and on to the Pacific Highway, through Nundle.
