If you, like me, use your phone as a device that can answer any and all your random questions, then you should probably pick up Ecosia. It’s just a browser and web search app but it uses the ad revenue from searches to plant trees. I did a bit of digging and for all I can tell it looks like the money is actually going where they say it goes, which is honestly kind of incredible. At the bottom of the home screen of the app they have links to financial reports and all sorts.
