OFF TO THE RACES
The announcement that the Kyalami 9 Hour was once again on the calendar to wrap up this year’s COVID-19-curtailed Intercontinental GT Challenge would have raised neck hairs among fans who witnessed the thrilling final hour of last year’s race.
A typical Highveld deluge swamped the circuit at around 8 pm, to such an extent that it looked as if the race might have to be red-flagged with two hours to go to the scheduled 10 pm finish.
