The typical post-race routine took a bizarre turn at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, where Mercedes wrapped up its record-breaking seventh consecutive constructors’ title, as Lewis Hamilton rolled a proverbial grenade under the door during his press conference. It’s been known for some time that Mercedes team boss and shareholder Toto Wolff wishes to move to a less hands-on role, and Hamilton has now followed up by suggesting he may be reconsidering his own position.
