‘ONE SHOCK AFTER THE NEXT’

TO THE world, they were a picture-perfect couple – a young farm manager and his pretty dark-haired wife, who seemed madly in love and devoted to each other.

A few weeks ago Raymond Papapavlou (28) presented his wife, Simoné (25), with an enormous rock of a diamond ring – a gift to show his devotion – and she showed it off at every opportunity.

But Raymond’s grand gesture and Simoné’s affection masked the conflict that raged behind closed doors in their modest farmhouse outside Groblersdal in Limpopo.
