Australia’s next F1 hope

IF YOU HAVEN’T already heard of Oscar Piastri, there is absolutely no doubt you will.

His name will be among the headlines in sporting sections of newspapers, he will flood your Facebook feed through sponsor endorsements and, if you’re a Formula 1 fanatic, you’ll probably be stretching out your arm, Sharpie and program in hand, for his autograph at Albert Park within the next few years.

Piastri is destined to become Australia’s next Formula 1 driver.

The 19-year-old from Melbourne is literally one step away from lining up alongside Daniel Ricciardo on the Grand Prix grid and joining an elite group of Australian racing drivers to reach the pinnacle of motor racing.
