This was an idea that minister for tourism Prahlad Singh Patel reminded the assembled guests at the third edition of the India Today Group’s Tourism Awards, which was held online. “The two crore people who usually travel abroad should see the country,” he said. “The Northeast and Himalayan states are places to discover.”
