SHOOTING TO THE MAXX
Almost all modern air rifles that offer a multi-shot magazine system are pre-charged pneumatics, but Gamo bucked the trend a few years ago by introducing the Maxxim Elite – a break-barrel powered by a gas-ram with a 10-shot magazine. The original Maxxim Elite went on to spawn a series of rifles called the Swarm, the current line-up including the Varmint Swarm, Camo Rocket Swarm, Varmint Swarm Tactical, Varmint Swarm Barricade and the Maxxim Elite Swarm Tactical, the subject of this review.
