Y&Y: Do you find winter sailing a challenge?

SH: Cold weather sailing, in itself, isn’t so much a challenge; it’s about ensuring you have the right sailing gear on, and ensuring you have eaten the correct food prior to sailing and taking enough with you afloat.

KB: We also think a lot of it is mindset; if you go to an event thinking ‘it’s cold’ then you probably won’t enjoy it. Embrace it, wrap up, commit to the racing and be confident!
