Thomson focused on road to New Zealand

FOUR YEARS have passed since Spain beat Scotland to claim the final spot at the 2017 World Cup. Ten years have passed since the Scots competed in the pinnacle event for women’s 15-a-side rugby, as they also failed to qualify for the 2014 tournament. So it’s little wonder Lisa Thomson and her team-mates have a clear goal of being part of RWC 2021 in New Zealand.

“It’s something we have been building towards since 2016 and those games against Spain,” says the Scotland centre.
