Burnt bum cheeks and Slim's scooter

The rally season of 1983 ended with Skegness. We were a man down on this rally , you have to remember that we were sti 11 teenagers and enjoyed doing teenage things . During the previous week Spud had been painting an Airfix model , and when he'd finished he poured the spare turps down the toilet and flushed . Chemists, or maybe hydrologists , might be able to explain why turps will remain on the surface of the water in a toilet when it is flushed , but Spud wasn't either of those so he didn't realise .
