that's life!

Welcome!

Are you a morning person or a night owl? Do you prefer sunrises or sunsets? The topic came up in the office when we were discussing our team started a semi-regular sunrise walk around Sydney’s magnificent harbour. Even Sarah, who is firmly in the ‘sunset person’ camp, got up early and made her way into the city. ‘We meet just before sun-up, get coffee at one of the kiosks open early for tradies, and sit and admire the sunrise before going for a brisk walk,’ Sarah says. ‘It’s not easy getting out of bed, but it’s just so fabulous when you are there.’ Rachel and one of her best friends Sophie have a weekly date to watch the sunrise and walk. ‘I love it,’ she says. ‘Everyone has such busy lives it’s sometimes hard to find time to get together. But this way, we catch up and get some exercise, all before most of the world has even woken up.’ I’m suitably inspired by the team, Rachel and Sophie and, of course, Veronica, who tells her story in this week’s issue. I’d love to hear if you are a sunrise person!
