USS New Jersey Shuts to Public

he battleship USS , which has operated as a served in the Pacific during World War II, saw action in the Korean and Vietnam wars, and supported U.S. troops in Beirut during the 1983–84 Lebanese Civil War. It earned 19 battle stars. Curators hope to reopen the ship in the spring.
