    Set in one of our most stylish eras and starring Lily James, the new film adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s compelling 1938 novel Rebecca has been hotly anticipated.

    It’s not only Lily’s powerful performance in the leading role that delivers, but also the timelessly elegant costumes that add to the romance and drama.

    “It’s an iconic story, a psychological thriller and so evocative,” says the film’s costume designer Julian Day, a Bafta Awards nominee who has been acclaimed for his work on the biopics Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman.
