KEEPING ’MUMS
Not as fashionable as dahlias, but equally beautiful,come into their own in autumn. These perennials put on a fabulous show from September and if you pop them into a greenhouse before the frosts hit, expect blooms until Christmas. Plant in spring, in a sunny, well-drained spot. They also do well in pots, though may need protecting to make it through winter.
