I’m very lucky in this job to receive lots of new cookbooks, but this one caught my eye because of its mix of recipes and anecdotes from British farming families. If you’re hooked on shows like All Creatures Great, this book is the real deal. It’s warm and charming, and a way of supporting the hard-working people who keep us fed.
