Oh, you are fussy!

In my experience, the term ‘fussy cutting’ usually elicits one reaction or another from a quilter. Some enjoy the technique and think of beautifully intricate quilts pieced from precision-cut sections of fabric. Others detest the thought of meticulously cutting cute, tiny motifs and struggle with the idea of fabric being as holey as Swiss cheese. Others aren’t even sure what fussy cutting actually is. So let’s clear that part up, shall we?
